Edmond Guidry is an associate attorney at Hamrick & Evans LLP, where he focuses on environmental law, entertainment litigation, and complex civil litigation matters. He draws on extensive litigation experience and a dual-state background to deliver strategic advocacy and personalized representation.
Before joining the firm, Edmond practiced for five years in Louisiana, where he specialized in environmental toxic torts, corporate fraud, and personal injury litigation. During that time, he often served as lead counsel in high-stakes cases involving property damage, solar panel fraud, medical malpractice, and corporate litigation. He spent three years practicing alongside his father, Eddie, at a boutique firm, managing his own docket and litigating in both state and federal courts. During that time, Edmond handled dozens of matters, including cases in Louisiana state courts and in the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Louisiana, as well as the Southern District of Texas and the District of Minnesota. He has also managed multiple appeals on behalf of clients in Louisiana.
In 2025, Edmond expanded his legal practice to the State of California. His dual-state expertise allows him to translate complex legal issues into clear, actionable guidance for clients.
Edmond combines tenacious courtroom advocacy with thoughtful pretrial strategy and negotiated resolution. He is committed to maintaining client-focused service and ensuring that each matter benefits from individual attention and high ethical standards—an ethos central to Hamrick & Evans.
Edmond earned his J.D. in 2019 from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, where he excelled in Moot Court, receiving the award for Best Oral Argument. He served as lead counsel on Loyola's First Amendment Moot Court team, competing at American University in Washington, D.C. Edmond was also a member of the Loyola Law Review and a William L. Crowe Scholar.
Originally from Louisiana, Edmond now resides in Westlake Village with his wife and two daughters. Outside the office, he enjoys playing golf and spending quality time with family.
He is admitted to practice law in California and Louisiana.
