Arbel M. Illya obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a B.A. in Philosophy and a minor in Professional Writing. Arbel went on to obtain his J.D. from Loyola Law School.
While in law school, he was part of the Loyola Center for Conflict Resolution where he successfully mediated family disputes and creditor/debtor disputes. Arbel also clerked with the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office, where he assisted deputies in a wide variety of criminal cases.
Prior to joining the firm, Arbel worked in insurance defense, where he worked on numerous general liability cases, as well as class action lawsuits. In his spare time, Arbel enjoys hiking and camping with his dog, Otto.
